SAINT LAURENT(youth and freedom)

Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape.

Yves Saint Laurent, under the creative direction of Hedi Slimane since March 2012, continues to position itself at the summit of the luxury universe. 

Today, SAINT LAURENT collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear. 

“Fashion fades, style is eternal” Yves Saint Laurent once said. 


Instead of price, "style" is defined by brand spirit. Eyewears can easily deliver message to others.

In its eyewear collection the brand maintains current authentic style, strongly focusing on the unisex concept. In addition to the minimal clean styling the collection features a discreet branding and the iconic detail of the Corner Angle: the metal angular corner positioned on the upper part of the front, an immediately recognizable “signature”.
